We have a responsibility for keeping your information safe and secure. We have policies to guide us and to inform parents, staff and volunteers of how information is used and stored. All our staff annually take part in GDPR and information security training to ensure we are compliant.

Data Protection Roles:

Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) 

The SIRO is a senior member of staff who has ultimate responsibility for operational risk, ensuring that the school’s policies and procedures are effective and comply with legislation, and promoting good practice in school.  In our organisation this role lies with the Headteacher.

 

Single Point of Contact (SPOC) 

The SPOC is someone at school level who can take operational responsibility for data protection, including communicating with data subjects and the DPO (Veritau).  In our organisation this role lies with the Staff and Resources Manager.
